| The Athena model is a freebie from the Despona Infographica web site. As with many of the Brazil renders I wanted a complex model for testing render speed and did not want to spend undue time producing one myself. The Athena render started off as a test for Brazils texture rendering and depth of field system. In later versions of Brazil I used the scene to test the new global illumination system and with time this will be used as a benchmark for further developments. |
